Dr. Chad Trosclair

Medical Director

Dr. Chad Trosclair is proud to be a life-long native of South Louisiana.  He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and then continued his education at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport earning his Medical Doctorate.  Dr. Trosclair has specialized in treating patients with addiction since 2001 and is certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine.  He has worked in a variety of settings specializing in Medicated Assisted Treatment and is skilled in treating all forms of addiction. He has been the Medical Director of various facilities overseeing the practices of other addiction treatment physicians; nurse and nurse practitioners; and counselors. 

Recognizing that addiction is a biological disease of the brain, Dr. Trosclair approaches his patients’ needs using a medical model of treatment scientifically proven to be successful.   He understands that is addiction is biological and not a moral failure; and treats his patients in a caring and compassionate manner.
